A woman resting

A few weeks ago this was the last pose of the afternoon. For me it was just the opposite of  relaxed, uphill going all the way.

    1. Hi Connie, thank you for your kind comment!
I suppose it was a challenging pose, especially after two and a half hours of several short poses - so by the time our model took this final pose, I had begun to feel seriously pooped, which I'm told is the way I should feel after three solid hours of drawing.

  2. Hi Marcia,

I like that you try and make the rest of us feel better, by saying it was hard. Okay Michelangelo, Mary Cassatt,
Sargent! But in the end all I can feel is impressed and astounded that this magnificent drawing.

    XOXOXO Love, Barbara

  3. Dear Barbara i am finally getting around to saying that as much as I love hyperbole, yours in particular - i find it necessary to disagree - it’s you who must be spoken of in the same breath as M, C and S.

    Love, Marcia
