Although the right arm is flung back, it may not be as
apparent or realized as I had wanted, because before I could sufficiently indicate its position,
the session ended and she,the
model,left.
It's fantastic. Too bad about the model and dinner and all that. But ultimately it's just great even though she has left the scene. For us there she is!
She was certainly there and magnificent in her ability to sustain a pose that would have been agony for most of us. She is also a yoga teacher which explains her enviable stretchability.
I suppose two minutes can seem like an eternity. Maybe it was fortunate I didn't have extra time - I might have worked in the arm and it wouldn't have tied in with the rest of the figure! Hugs, Marcia
This blog is dedicated primarily to the endeavor of list making - an inventory of sorts of various things I've done both in the recent and distant past and recent present - some drawing, sculpture, painting.
My interest in working as an artist has been predominantly figurative and I'm indebted to figurative sculptor John Fillion who I studied with at the U of Guelph.

The colors and your line work are wonderful! I see the indication for the arm, seems like another 2 minutes would have done it.
