Standing, leaning


Last Sunday there were a few 20 minute poses and several rapid gesture poses, a few of which I attempted to consolidate, combining, with some of the gestures, two to a page in order to set up ideas for 
a composition.

    How I love these drawings. They are moving and breathing and sending out energy. I don't know how you do it, but I hope you'll continue.

    The first one is wonderful too. That hip seems to hold up the world with the model's hand delicately balanced on the column. Beautifully drawn.

    Always incredible! These drawings are reminiscent of Rembrandt.
    I just saw the "Many Faces of Jesus" at the Detroit Institute of Art.
    When I saw these I was blown away.
